How This Project Came Together
The Brief
The project involved major works to strengthen and stabilise the existing embankments, with our scope focused on rehabilitating newly constructed and disturbed areas following civil construction.
What We Delivered
A tailored hydromulching treatment was developed for the site, incorporating a site-specific seed blend, mulch, soil amendments and stabilisation products to support vegetation establishment and protect the embankment surface from erosion. Works were completed progressively as areas became available, requiring close coordination with A1 Earthworx and the wider construction program, with detailed batching and application records maintained throughout for full traceability.
The Outcome
Approximately 30,000m² was treated across the project, providing the final revegetation and surface stabilisation treatment to the upgraded embankments - supporting WaterNSW's broader embankment strengthening program.
