How This Project Came Together
The Brief
While onsite delivery was completed within a matter of days, the project was supported by several months of careful planning and coordination. This included reviewing the project's Biodiversity Management Plan, selecting a site-specific native seed blend, and developing an application methodology suited to the ground conditions, restricted access and broader construction program.
What We Delivered
A tailored hydromulching treatment was applied using technical products selected to protect the seed, retain moisture and stabilise the soil surface throughout establishment. Works were staged around the site's access constraints and delivered in accordance with the project's safety and quality requirements. Detailed batch and application records were maintained throughout, providing full traceability of the materials, quantities and application rates used.
The Outcome
Upon completion, the revegetation works were reviewed and signed off by the project's environmental consultants as compliant with the Biodiversity Management Plan - providing the assurance our client needed to complete the environmental handover of the project.
Orana BESS demonstrates our ability to combine detailed pre-construction planning, technical product selection and efficient onsite delivery to support the quality, environmental and handover requirements of major infrastructure projects.
